The 2006 Inter Cities Cup.


The first leg of The Inter Cities Cup was held on Sunday 2nd April 2006 at Cawder Golf Club.  The result was 6 matches to 3 in favour of Cawder.  It was a fairly tight match with 3 of the 9 matches being decided on the 18th green.  The return match was held on Sunday 9th April at Kingsknowe.  The match was extremely tight with Kingsknowe winning the second match 5.5 to 3.5 and the match staying live until the last ball on the last green was played.. Cawder won the overall match 9.5 points to Kingsknowe's 8.5. Thus making Cawder the first winners of the trophy.
