The Rules of The Andy Kellock Cup

 

  1. The Andy Kellock Cup will be held annually.

  2. Clubs taking part are: Balfron, Balmore, Bearsden, Bishopbriggs, Cawder, Clober, Douglas Park, Dullatur, Hayston, Hilton Park, Glasgow, Kirkintilloch, Lenzie, Milngavie, Palacerigg, Ralston, Sandyhills and Windyhill.The event will be held at one of the participating Clubs in the event and rotated until each Club has hosted the event.

  3. Teams will consist of six Junior Members. A Junior is defined as a player under the age of 18 at 00.01 hours on the
    1st January in a calendar year, playing a Stableford round of golf, with the cumulative best four net scores to count.

  4. Boys will play from the yellow Tees, Girls will play from the Red Tees.

  5. Player's Full Handicap index will be used. To derive a Player's Playing Handicap when multiple tees are used, the following should be applied:
    Course Handicap = (Handicap Index X The Slope Rating / 113) + the Course Rating - Par.
    Playing Handicap = (Course Handicap X 95%)

  6. Players will be drawn in groups of three.

  7. All scores will be returned to the members respective Club.

  8. In the event of the result being a draw, the score for the number 5 and if necessary the number 6 player will be used.  If a draw is still the result, the best back 9 scores of all the players will be used.

  9. The Andy Kellock Cup will be presented to the winners at the Annual Prize Giving Dinner.
