Notice is hereby given that the 78th Annual General Meeting will be held at
Lenzie Golf Club on Wednesday 3rd December 2025 at 7:00 pm.
1 Apologies.
2 To review and approve the Financial Report for the year ended 31 October 2025.
3 To recommend the Annual Subscription be increased to £60 for the year ending 31 October 2026.
4 To approve the appointment of Stephen Lindsay as League Secretary until the conclusion of the 2026 Annual General Meeting.
5 Subject to approval, Willie Abernethy, Ewan Duncan, John Struthers, and Gordon Thomson have agreed to continue in their committee roles until the conclusion of the 2026 Annual General Meeting.
6 To approve the admission of Clober Golf Club, Clydebank and District Golf Club and Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club as members of the Donald Cameron League, as explained in the paper dated 5 November 2025 circulated to member clubs.
7 To review and approve the re-structuring of the Donald Cameron Scratch League as explained in the aforesaid paper dated 5 November 2025 circulated to member clubs.
8 The Bill Jessiman Rules: The Handicap Index Range at the lower end to be changed from 6 .0 to 3.0 and the upper end to be changed from 12.0 to 9.0.

Leagues Report: Glasgow won Division 1 and Balmore won Division 2. In the J J McCarry Leagues, Glasgow won the Scratch League, Hilton Park won Division 2 and Dullatur won Division 3.

11 Order of Merit Reports Neil MacRae (Glasgow) was the winner in Division 1, Jim Mooney (Balmore) was the winner in Division 2,
 Lewis McGlinchey (Clober) was the winner in the J J McCarry Division 1, Larissa Dolan (Clober) was the winner in the J J McCarry Division 2, and is the first female winner of a DCL award, Marcus Burns (Balmore) was the winner in the J J McCarry Division 3.
12 Foursomes Report: Balmore beat Clober at Milngavie Golf Club in a final which was delayed due to bad weather.
13 DCL Seniors Cup Report: Balmore won the event in great weather at Lenzie.
14 Andy Kellock Cup Report: In a keenly contested event at Douglas Park, Lenzie were the winners, retaining the trophy they first won in 2024.
15 The Bill Jessiman Trophy Report: Douglas Park beat Bearsden in a very close final at Kirkintilloch G. C.
16 Andra Kirkaldy Trophy Report: Bearsden beat Milngave in a very close final at Kirkintilloch G. C.
17 The Boundary Bell Report: Glasgow won both the Boundary Bell against Cathkin Braes and the Wee Boundary Bell also against Cathkin Braes at a very windswept Bonnyton Golf Club.
18 Inter Cities Cup Report:The event was won by Glasgow after their opponents, Duddingston, conceded as they were unable to field a team on the 12th October 2025.
19 The 2026 Annual Dinner  will be held at Douglas Park on 6th February 2026. The Speaker will be Peter Brown and the ticket price is £35.
20 The Bill Jessiman Trophy Draw for the 2026 event to be made by Douglas Park, winners in 2025.
21 The Andra Kirkaldy Trophy Draw for the 2026 event to be made by Bearsden, winners in 2025.
22 The Foursomes Trophy Draw for the 2026 event to be made by Balmore,winners in 2025.
23 To approve a proposal to appoint Brian Davidson as the President of The Donald Cameron League.
24 Any other competent business.
